Irish singer and broadcaster Una Healy returned to her hometown of Thurles to settle down with her children after living in the UK for 13 years.
She made the move by ferry back in 2020, saying at the time she had come “full circle”.
“I am feeling very nostalgic actually because the last time I was on a ferry was 13 years ago when I moved over to the UK first and so much has happened since,” she said.
“I came over in a Honda Civic and I put my whole life in it and it is like full circle because I am heading back to Ireland again. I can’t think of anywhere better to be during this really strange time than back home.
“See you at the other side. Here’s to new beginnings and brighter days ahead. Lots to look forward to!”
Una is now settled into her home in Thurles with her two kids, Aoife Belle and Tadhg.
Pictures of the house show it to be both spacious and stylish, decorated with different materials.
Her personality really comes through in the home, with a gym and a room for all her designer shoes.
A picture hanging up says it all when it comes to Una, as it says ‘It’s a long, long way to Tipperary – but my heart is here!’, RSVP reports.
On her Instagram account, Una has posted snapshots into her home, welcoming fans into a snapshot of her life.
Under her most recent post, she wrote: “Just added the final touches to both my shoe room and home gym with these beautiful mirrors. Thanks so much to @diamondfurniture_dublin #gifted”
The garden seems to be a lovely spot to sit out in the sun and enjoy some food, with a patio table and a brick path.
